This policy explains what personal information the EDU Master Pro mobile app and website (edumasterpro.lk) collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to the practices described here.

Who we are

EDU Master Pro is a free learning platform that gives Sri Lankan A-Level students past papers, practice MCQs, progress tracking and a student community. The app is developed and operated by the EDU Master Pro team ("we", "us"). For privacy questions you can reach us at edumasterpro.help@gmail.com.

You can refuse or withdraw these permissions in your device settings; the related feature will then not be available. We do not collect your precise location, contacts or call history.

How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account, and to verify your email address.
  • To provide the app: show papers and MCQs for your subjects, save your progress, and calculate performance statistics and ranks.
  • To run the student chat, including reporting and removing harmful messages.
  • To send notifications you have allowed, such as chat activity and app updates.
  • To keep the app secure, prevent abuse and fraud, and fix bugs.
  • To show and measure ads, which help us keep the app free (see below).
  • To respond to your questions and requests, and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your chat messages or profile details for advertising.

Advertising and AdMob

EDU Master Pro is free to use and shows ads to support its running costs. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may use your device's advertising ID, IP address and information about your device and how you interact with ads to deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud.

  • Where ads appear: in browsing screens such as the home screen and paper lists, and occasionally full-screen after you finish a practice session. We do not show ads during a quiz, while you read a paper, in chat, or on the sign-in screens.
  • Ad content: we ask AdMob to limit ads to content suitable for a general audience.
  • Consent: if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before requesting ads. You can change your choice any time from Profile → Ad Privacy Settings.
  • Your controls: you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalisation in your device settings (on Android: Settings → Google → Ads). Ads will still appear, but will be less relevant to you.
